Valentine's Day is my all time favorite holiday! Perhaps it is because the name is similar to mine of Valerie. I love to decorate the house and make a fun celebration for my family. I love to make a pretty red & heart inspired table with flowers and candles and lots of sparkle. Cupcakes has been a favorite for the kids and they sure add a lot of color to any party! This cupcake tree is great to use but you need to make 3 dozen cupcakes..that is a lot of cupcakes.When the kids were younger I used to make everything pink or red in our meal, now I just try to make some of the family's favorite foods! (That is not easy with lots of different tastes and dietary needs around our house.) Sharing endearment with those you love is a wonderful feeling. Letting those that mean something to you know it! Often! It does not have to be extravagant but heartfelt. However; Chocolates and flowers are always welcome! I think Valentine's Day should be every day. Not only once a year.
